Product Overview – ASTM A213 TP309S Seamless Tubes
ASTM A213 TP309S is the low carbon modification of grade 309 stainless steel. The reduced carbon content minimizes carbide precipitation during welding and prolonged heat exposure.
These seamless stainless steel tubes are manufactured using hot finished or cold drawn processes to ensure dimensional accuracy, uniform wall thickness, and high-pressure tolerance.
TP309S seamless tubes are widely used in furnace components, heat exchangers, petrochemical heaters, and thermal processing units where both oxidation resistance and weld integrity are critical.
Compared to TP309, TP309S offers improved resistance to sensitization while maintaining excellent scaling resistance at elevated temperatures.
