Product Overview – ASTM A213 TP347 Seamless Tubes
ASTM A213 TP347 seamless stainless steel tubes are niobium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel tubes specifically developed for high-temperature service conditions where resistance to sensitization and corrosion is required.
The addition of niobium (Nb) stabilizes the stainless steel structure by preventing chromium carbide precipitation during welding and prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures.
Compared with conventional austenitic stainless steels such as 304, TP347 provides improved resistance to intergranular corrosion, making it suitable for fabrication and welding in thermal industrial systems.
ASTM A213 TP347 tubes are manufactured using precision cold-drawn or hot-finished seamless processes to achieve excellent dimensional accuracy, smooth internal surfaces, and superior mechanical strength.
Because of these characteristics, TP347 seamless tubes are widely used in boilers, petrochemical refineries, chemical processing plants, thermal power plants, and heat exchanger equipment where reliability at high temperatures is essential.
