Product Overview – ASTM A269 TP347 Welded Tubes
ASTM A269 TP347 welded stainless steel tubes are widely used in industries that require reliable performance under high temperature and corrosive operating conditions.
This stainless steel grade contains niobium (columbium) as a stabilizing element, which prevents chromium carbide precipitation during welding or high temperature service. Because of this stabilization, TP347 welded tubes offer improved resistance to intergranular corrosion compared with non-stabilized stainless steels.
The tubes are produced using precision stainless steel strip forming and automated welding processes. After welding, they undergo solution annealing, pickling, and surface finishing treatments to ensure consistent metallurgical structure and high-quality surface finish.
Due to their excellent high temperature stability and corrosion resistance, ASTM A269 TP347 welded stainless steel tubes are widely used in petrochemical plants, chemical processing systems, heat exchangers, and refinery process equipment.
